The Day After

What a spectacular day yesterday was. The special day of my birthday bash. I must say, my 40th birthday has been, hands down the best birthday I've ever had. I've been spoiled beyond belief by my Turtle love and the outpouring of love from family and friends has been stellar. Mrs. M even made a special one-day trip from Reno just to celebrate with me! Red and the flartist gave me the most amazingly beautiful floral arrangements EVER!! Mommy really outdid herself to celebrate my 40th. I truly could not have asked for more!!

Highlights of the day include a scrapbook that everyone helped me create of the day, and of course, the birthday roast MC'd by Mrs. M. Even though it was a roast of me, I think Turtle ended up being even more roasted than myself with the story of his nickname being made public, in front of his mom! Yup, until yesterday the nature of the nickname had been kept safely secret from the family but, now, everyone pretty much knows the story of how Turtle came to be. {{giggles}} Poor Turtle, he took it all in stride and loves me anyway!!

Off to bed to dream of my fabulous day.
