Nerves

Starting to get nervous about my next infusion. It's number 12.

Today's Mantra

What I am experiencing is transitory, simply a moment in time. I do not accept this moment as permanent.

It's Back

I think I jinxed myself. I had a meeting with a rep from Biogen Idec yesterday about patient advocacy and said, "This is the longest period of time I've gone exacerbation free." This morning, I woke up and the vertigo is back!

Okay, so this is probably my bodies way of saying slow down. But darn it, I've been having so much fun being reengaged in life again, I don't want to slow down!

I'm gonna pout for another half an hour and then it's off to the gym to meet my trainer. I think a very gentle work out is in my future!

Me and Tysabri

I've been on Tysabri for almost a year now and, WOW, this drug has changed my life. I'm feeling the best that I've felt since my diagnosis and I've finally engaged in life again. It feels so, so good.

MRI results after 8 infusions shows all existing lesions have decreased in size and are less discernible on the MRI. And, my neurologist has downgraded my disability level back down to a 1, when I was at a 3.5 - 4 a year ago.

Sometimes it truly is amazing what a difference a day can make.
